Sean Taylor, a Vice President with The Furman Group, focuses on representing municipalities and local governments on water infrastructure, public lands issues, and a variety of appropriations matters for the firm's clients.

Mr. Taylor joined The Furman Group after serving as a Natural Resources Policy Analyst to Governor Jeb Bush of Florida. As Governor Bush's lead staffer in Washington, D.C., Mr. Taylor developed regional and national coalitions to help mold national energy legislation, ocean policy, expand aquatic ecosystem restoration, and land & water conservation programs.

Since joining The Furman Group over six years ago, Mr. Taylor has successfully developed and implemented legislative strategies on behalf of the firm’s clients that have resulted in tens of millions of dollars in environmental infrastructure development. He provides daily representation for Furman Group clients at the Congressional and Executive branch levels of the federal government.

Prior to joining Gov. Bush's office, Mr. Taylor spent three years in the United States Senate working for Senator Connie Mack of Florida and Senator Judd Gregg of New Hampshire. He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Political Science.
