Link Browder is the Senior Vice President of The Furman Group. Mr. Browder’s work focuses on representing municipalities and local governments in the Western states on transportation, water infrastructure and public lands issues. Mr. Browder works closely with the authorizing and appropriations committees in both the House of Representatives and the United States Senate that have jurisdiction over these issues. He has significant experience in formulating and executing legislative strategies on behalf of The Furman Group’s clients to secure federal funding for infrastructure projects and to secure title to federally-owned land for economic development and growth purposes.

Over the last 15 years, Mr. Browder has successfully developed and implemented legislative strategies on behalf of Furman Group clients that have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars for transportation and water and wastewater infrastructure development. He has successfully promoted legislation that requires the privatization of utility systems on military installations and initiated and assisted in the passage of legislation to transfer title of federally-owned facilities to local governments and municipalities. Mr. Browder manages associate-level government affairs advisors, administrative staff and consultants, and works directly with principals of the firm in day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining The Furman Group, Mr. Browder served as the Finance Director for Furman for U.S. Senate, a state-wide Senate campaign in Nevada. Mr. Browder was in charge of all aspects of fundraising and maintaining rapport with decision makers and community leaders in Nevada and throughout the country.

Prior to joining the Furman campaign, Mr. Browder worked for United States Senator Connie Mack on Capitol Hill.

Mr. Browder earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida State University.
